ACT205 - Working with Victims of Sexual Assault and Violence (ACT205)


Description
The focus of this training is to provide an increased awareness of what sexual violence is and the people who are affected. The course will discuss the short- and long-term impacts of sexual violence, consent and the dynamics of power, signs of sexual violence, the crisis response intervention model as it relates to sexual violence, systems victims often encounter, and skills and knowledge needed to more effectively assist victims of sexual assault.

Note: This training can count towards the Foundational Academy Supplemental Training requirements.
