Leadership and Governance Trainings

Please note: This page is only for learners completing Leadership and Governance Trainings who do not wish to create an account with the Pennsylvania Victim Services Training (PVST) website. Learners are encouraged to create an account to gain access to the full catalog of courses offered on the PVST (including all Leadership and Governance courses and 30+ additional Victim Services Trainings) and a centralized location for your course materials, progress, and certificates.

Leadership and Governance courses (formerly known as Capacity Building courses) are seminars and training modules designed to improve victim service organization board recruitment, retention, and development. Additionally, the Leadership and Governance courses provide tools to improve leadership and project management skills.

You will be given the opportunity to download a certificate of completion at the end of the course. Please note that if you need to download the course completion certificate, you MUST download it immediately after completing the course — your progress will not be saved otherwise, and the certificate cannot be retrieved.

It is recommended that you review the instructions to download your certificate BEFORE you start your course.

Trainings are funded by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD), the lead criminal justice system planning agency for Pennsylvania. PCCD's mission is to enhance the quality and coordination of criminal and juvenile justice systems, facilitate the delivery of services to victims of crime and increase the safety of Pennsylvania's communities.
