Description
During this training we will learn the definition of trauma, how it affects the brain and our behavior, a basic understanding of what Trauma Informed Care is and what trauma informed Victim Services should look like, what Evidenced Informed Care is in relation to victim services, and basic tools for engaging a traumatized person and practicing self-care.

Note: This training can count towards the Foundational Academy Supplemental Training requirements.
